LASD to review AR-15 deployment policy after viral video in Santa Clarita

The sheriff's department announced Tuesday it will conduct an in-depth review of its rifle deployment policy and training after a viral video showed deputies pointing guns, including at least one AR-15, at Black teens after witnesses reported the youths were being attacked by a man armed with a knife in Santa Clarita.  

Fire crews stop forward progress of wildfire in Santa Clarita

LA County fire crews have stopped forward progress to the updated 130-acre blaze that was burning uphill on Monday afternoon near the northbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway at Newhall  Avenue in the Santa Clarita, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
