Federal agents continue to conduct immigration raids across Southern California after receiving directives from President Donald Trump to step up their efforts.

The City Council authorized a $5 million loan from the reserve fund to partially cover overtime fees for LAPD officers that were accrued while responding to anti-ICE protests in downtown.
