LA City workers go on strike for 1st time in decades

From downtown LA to LAX, thousands of city workers went on strike Tuesday for a scheduled 24-hour work stoppage prompted by what their union believes is a lack of good-faith labor negotiations.

Morocco bus crash leaves at least 24 dead

At least 24 people died in a bus crash Sunday in the province of Azilal in central Morocco, marking one of the deadliest such accidents in recent years in the country.
