Thousand Oaks shooting victim left mark on Simi Valley wrestling team

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (KTTV) -- Officials with a high school wrestling team in Simi Valley are remembering the life and legacy of one of the victims in Wednesday night's shooting at Borderline Bar & Grill.

According to an unverified Facebook page that reportedly belongs to the wrestling team at Royal High School in Simi Valley, 48-year-old Sean Adler was a strength coach for the team a few years back.

"He was positive, motivational, and truly wanted the best for the people behind him," read the post.

Adler, according to the post, was working as a bouncer at the bar, when the shooting took place. According to reports by the Associated Press, Adler recently opened up a coffee shop in Simi Valley.
