A foster family is in need of help after getting their car and wheelchair stolen.

On Monday night around 7, Mark Sanchez and his fiance were taking groceries into their home on Bestel Avenue when they noticed their car was taken from the driveway.

Sanchez said someone went into their driveway and stole theirs 2015 Nissan Altima.

What made the theft worse was that his fiance's purse, which had $300 in it, was in the car. So was her biological son's wheelchair and medication.

The couple is fostering four kids and raising three of their own. The car was their only means of transportation.

Two of their kids are disabled. One has Autism. Another one just beat cancer last year.

The couple saved up for months to purchase the metallic gray Altima last November. It was so new, the license plates hadn't been delivered to the house yet.

Garden Grove police said this was a challenge when investigating the case.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help the with medication for their son and other needs.
