Skydiver gets snagged in tree, crashes during Veterans Day accident

BALDWIN PARK, Calif. (FOX 11) - A scary moment at the Veterans Day celebration in Baldwin Park yesterday.

A skydiver crashes to the ground after the huge American flag he was carrying gets tangled in a tree.

Paramedics were at the celebration and raced over to treat him. The skydiver is a veteran -- 67 years old, and a member of the gold star skydiving team.

Team members say he has a possible concussion and several broken bones but is lucky to have survived the crash.
