Man injured when crashing his SUV into home during pursuit

GRANADA HILLS, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - A motorist was injured today when a vehicle crashed into a house in Granada Hills.

The crash was reported in the 11300 block of Balboa Boulevard around 2a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

The motorist was trying to get away from California Highway Patrol officers who were conducting a traffic stop, according to the LAPD. The crash occurred after the speeding SUV exited the nearby Ronald Reagan (118)
Freeway, according to news media outlets.

The motorist, whose name was not immediately released, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
