The National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory in effect from Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. until Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. for the Los Angeles County coast including downtown L.A., Malibu, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and Long Beach.

20 to 30 MPH northeast winds are expected to impact the area with gusts up to 45 MPH. Gusty winds could make driving difficult, could bring down tree limbs, and result in some power outages.
