Dog rescued in Malibu after falling 30-feet down abandoned well
MALIBU, Calif. - (CNS) - A dog was rescued today after it fell 30 feet down an abandoned well in Malibu.
Crews were called about 12:55 p.m. to the 6700 block of Dume Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A rescuer was lowered into the narrow well opening and later emerged with the dog, which was taken to a veterinarian to be examined, a dispatcher said.
The rescue was complete by 4:25 p.m., according to the dispatcher.
