#CarFreeFriday: Santa Monica wants people to stop using cars on Fridays

(FOX 11) - Driving in Santa Monica can be pretty tough.

There's just too much traffic.

Now the city is trying to do something about it with car-free Friday.

People are encouraged to ride the Metro, bicycle and walk on Fridays.

Participants can share their experience on social media using #CarFreeFriday.
