Wild deer with arrow in neck spotted in Monrovia neighborhood

Somewhere in Monrovia, a deer is running around, with an arrow in its neck.

A local resident, David Fernandez, shot a five-second clip of the buck running through his neighborhood with the arrow clearly visible.

He says he's called 'The Humane Society, police, and 'The State Department of Fish and Wildlife hoping one of them will find the animal and have the arrow removed.

Fernandez says deer often play in the neighborhood.

He's disheartened that somebody would try to injure or kill one of them.

Hunting is allowed in some areas of California, but not in residential neighborhoods.

Fernandez is hoping someone else in Monrovia will spot the deer again, and lead authorities to it.
