WATCH: Glacier proposal stuns Alaska woman

ANCHORAGE - One woman from Alaska got quite the surprise -- when her boyfriend of three years proposed to her on top of a glacier!

Brooke Hogan from Anchorage, Alaska thought her boyfriend Michael DuPree' was taking her on a trip on a helicopter ride to a glacier -- and it got even better with a sweet surprise against a landscape of breathtaking icy views.

The couple was captured in a video enjoying the view, when DuPree' gets down on one knee and pulls out the ring.

"Are you kidding me?" Hogan can be heard saying in the video.

The sound of camera clicks and wind can be heard while Hogan kisses DuPree' and tells him "yes."

She is quickly jolted back into reality and says "What!? What?!" in shock of the surprise.

DuPree' laughs with cameraman Jovelle, as Hogan realizes how she had been totally clueless about their plans.

The video has been viewed thousands of times already.

"If only you knew Michael, you would know this was a complete SHOCK. He always had a '5-year-plan," Hogan tells FOX5.

She also says the engagement ring was particularly special for Hogan, including a diamond that was a family heirloom.

"He incorporated my great-grandmother's diamond that was once earrings and has been passed down the line. It was my grandma's diamond in her first marriage and then my mom's diamond in her and my dad's marriage, and now it sits to the right of the center stone in mine!" she said.
