Students, staff arrange dance proposal between teens with cerebral palsy

Students and staff at an Oregon high school helped arrange a homecoming dance proposal between two teens with cerebral palsy.

Paul and Gabbie both suffer from cerebral palsy, which keeps them confined to a wheelchair and from talking like most of their classmates. But, when they see each other, they light up. You can feel the love in their hearts and see it in their eyes.

With the homecoming dance just a few weeks away, their parents were wondering how they would handle the events. Last week, with the help of students and staff at Mountain View, Paul asked Gabbie to be his date.

Of course, she said yes!

The high school sweethearts are showing so many others that they're not letting a disease hold them back from having a little fun, and dancing the night away.
