That growing homeless encampment at the Santa Ana Civic Center got some much needed relief today.

Three new portable toilets were installed near Ross street and they will be open 24-7.

Hundreds of homeless people are now living here and have had no bathrooms to use at night.

Orange County employees who work at the civic center complain of human waste on sidewalks, streets, and stairwells.

Orange County supervisors who pushed for the new toilets say most people don't think about how difficult it is for the homeless to fulfill and basic human need.
