LAPD arrest man wanted in connection with multiple LA assaults

The LAPD have arrested a man wanted in a series of burglaries and rapes in the Echo Park, East Hollywood, and Silver Lake areas.

On August first he was spotted walking into the open door of an apartment on Mariposa. He knocked a woman to the ground but her screams scared him off.

90 minutes later and a few miles away he was caught on security cam again in another complex. This time he was assaulting a woman when her dog attacked him and he fled.

The communities so worried about this guy they offered a 35-thousand dollar reward for information.

Tomorrow morning the LAPD will officially announce the arrest and ID the suspect.
