Harry Potter helps light up the Summer Sky!
(FOX 11) - When the sun goes down, Hogsmeade really knows how to turn up! As night falls on Hogsmeade village, "The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle" shines brightly with an awe-inspiring spectacle that showcases the four houses of Hogwarts: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin and includes awesome beams of lights and fireworks that beam into the night sky.
Universal Studios Hollywood has had a busy year celebrating the 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park, but the summer evenings are all about Harry Potter! Cheers with Butterbeers, Hop on the Hogswarts Express, and enjoy all the The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has to offer! Located inside Universal Studios Hollywood, there's something fun for everyone. The nighttime lights display runs this summer until August 19th and again on September 1-3, so make sure you catch this limited light spectacle.
I asked Stephen Siercks, the Director of Entertainment Production, what's different for 2018 and what visitors of the park love most about the nightly show! You can't have a show without good music as well, and the Harry Potter theme song plays loudly throughout Hogsmeade during each performance.
