Fontana man shot and killed in home by attempted party crashers

FONTANA, Calif. (FOX 11) - A man was shot and killed through a door of a home in Fontana Monday night after at least two men were refused entry into the residence, Fontana police said.

Fontana Police got the call of a reported shooting around 10 p.m. in the 15000 block of Portenza Drive

Police said the men showed up at the home where a small gathering was being held. The men tried to enter the residence but were denied. One of the men then shot into the home several times.

A 20-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Fontana Police Department.

No arrests have been made, an investigation is ongoing.
