Firefighters put out blaze threatening the Radio Hill Gardens

A brush fire in the Radio Hill Gardens area in Los Angeles Wednesday afternoon scorched about an acre before firefighters put it out.

Los Angeles firefighters anchored the fire with brush hose packs and worked around the flanks fo the fire along with air support making drops at the head of the fire.

No injuries were reported. Crews will remain on scene to make sure no hot spots are left in the burned areas.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
