Daycare worker arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting two young girls

ANAHEIM, Calif. (FOX 11/ CNS) - An 18-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in Anaheim on suspicion of assaulting two young girls at a daycare facility he was employed at.

Police allege Buena Park resident Daniel Martinez had inappropriate physical contact with girls, ages 6 and 7, while employed at a licensed daycare facility located in the 700 block of South Dale Avenue.

Martinez was arrested after he voluntarily met with Anaheim police detectives, according to Sgt. Jacob Gallacher.

Martinez was booked on suspicion of committing lewd acts with a child under the age of 14 and is in custody at the Orange County Jail with bail set at $1 million, Gallacher said.
