California Bringing Back The Classic Black License Plate

California is bringing back the classic black license plate. The plates were first issued by the d-m-v between 1963 and 1969, During the heyday of the muscle car. The throwback plates will cost $50 dollars and will be issued in the next two or three weeks under the state's legacy license plate program.

The idea behind that program was to give car enthusiasts an option for their restored vehicles.
