WEST LOUISVILLE, KY (FOX 11) - A photo of a teenager giving his shoes to a homeless man with holes in his shoes is going viral.
The photo was posted to Facebook by a nonprofit group called PurpMe. The post says that a 14-year-old boy from West Louisville, Kentucky gave the shoes off his feet to the man.
The teen was doing homeless outreach at the time with PurpMe.
The nonprofit group, which means 'People Uplifting Real People,' is also encouraging everyone to uplift others.
PurpMe currently has teams in Louisville, Cincinnati and is working on building one in LA, according to their Facebook page.
