Over a dozen people were injured Wednesday morning following a major crash involving a Santa Clarita city bus, a gravel truck, and two white sedans.
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. - A multi-vehicle collision in Santa Clarita left over a dozen people injured, and a major intersection buried in gravel on Wednesday morning.
What we know:
The incident was reported at around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Centre Pointe Parkway and Golden Valley Road, according to to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The collision involved a Santa Clarita Valley Transit bus, a truck carrying a full load of dirt and gravel, and two white sedans.
SkyFOX video from the location showed a tandem dirt hauler with its front load of gravel spilled, and a white car partially wedged beneath its cab, a damaged city bus and a second wrecked white car.
According to the sheriff's department, the driver of the gravel truck was unable to negotiate a turn onto Centre Pointe Parkway, causing the vehicle to collide with the bus and two other vehicles.
What we don't know:
The status and severity of the injuries sustained by the victims have not been disclosed.
