California Highway Patrol officers chased a Lincoln Navigator with Georgia license plates late Friday night. The chase started in South Los Angeles when the driver went through a red light. The chase continued into the Huntington Park area, where the suspect drove at high speeds and ran through more red lights.
At one point, the suspect drove through the intersection of Randolph and Alameda, swerving to avoid a car, but then lost control and ended up colliding into several parked cars on the other side of the street.
The SUV's airbag went off, and the suspect remained in the vehicle for several minutes, before exiting through the driver side window in the back seat. He was taken into custody.
