Man tries to take 'upskirt' photos of girls at a Cypress Target

(FOX 11) - A family shopping trip to Target takes a creepy turn.

Angelica Duarte said this man 'messed with the wrong family.' This mother of four from Cypress told me she was shopping in Target when she noticed a man acting strangely with his phone around her 15-year-old daughter.

Moments later she noticed the same man take his phone out, put in on the floor and try to shoot pictures up the dress of another young woman.

Angelica's husband saw it too, tried to tackle him, but he broke free and ran out.

She was able to get a picture of him behind the wheel with his license plate, and gave that to responding police, who told her in fact they'd received another similar call from a Target in Cerritos about an hour earlier.

So detectives have the photo, the plate, and in store security footage to go on, not to mention several eyewitnesses.

Duarte said she's speaking out because she's concerned with all young women, since 'it's summer and girls are out and shopping and separate from us in the stores'' and they need to be protected from what she called '' a predator, a pedophile, a pro who knew what he was doing.'
