Burglars cut through roof of Simi Valley Best Buy store, steal $93,000 worth of Apple products

Some brazen burglars got away with thousands of dollars' worth of Apple products from a Best Buy store in Simi Valley.

Police were called to the Simi Town Center around 7 a.m. on July 8th.

They say just before 3 a.m. the suspects cut a hole in the roof of the store and used a 24-foot ladder to climb into the store.

After the suspects entered, police say they cut open a caged area in the warehouse where several Apple products were being held. They grabbed several items and exited through the hole in the roof.

Approximately $93,000 dollars' worth of Apple merchandise was stolen.

Best Buy Corporate Security says there have been similar style burglaries at other stores in Southern California and believe the same suspects are involved.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact the Simi Valley Police Department.
