LOS ANGELES - The animation film, “Abominable," tells the beautiful tale of a gentle yeti named Everest who is trying to return to his family. Helping him do just that is, Yi, voiced by Chloe Bennet.
The Dream Works film also takes us on a rich cultural tour of China, off and on screen. The cast tells FOX 11's Julie Chang that a majority of the crew and cast were of Asian descent — because representation matters!
With so many details to pay attention to, Abominable took eight years to make. That posed a unique challenge for some of the film's young stars.
As Julie Chang explains:
Abominable opens in theaters Friday, September 27.
