Two earthquakes strike Palm Springs area

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. - Two 3.5 earthquakes were detected in the Palm Springs area Sunday.
The first earthquake hit at 1:44 a.m. near Cabazon and the second one hit at 2:07 p.m. just 10 miles north of Indio, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Both earthquakes were registered at 3.5 magnitude. There were no immediate reports of any injuries or damage.
