LA weather updates for Tuesday, Jan. 28

A winter storm brought much-needed rain and mountain snow to Southern California following weeks of low humidity paired with fierce Santa Ana winds.

Some areas even experienced hail.

Mount Wilson, for example, received significant snowfall at the start of the week, with the area getting up to a foot of snow.

While there won't be snow in Los Angeles to look forward to this week, cold temperatures are expected to persist.
