Four suspects arrested after high-speed chase ends in Inglewood

Four suspects were arrested in Inglewood Thursday night after a pursuit that began with the Los Angeles Police Department trying to arrest at least one suspect for assault with a deadly weapon.

The chase began about 8:35 p.m. in the LAPD's Hollenbeck Division's jurisdiction, which covers areas in eastern Los Angeles, according to Officer
Tony Im. The exact location was not available.

The suspects traveled, often over 100 miles per hour, on the Golden State (5), Artesia (91) and Glenn Anderson (105) freeways, where a California Highway Patrol helicopter had to abandon the chase because of fog.

The four suspects were located and taken into custody about 9:20 p.m., on Prairie Avenue, near the Glenn Anderson Freeway, in Inglewood.

Further information about the suspects were not immediately available.
