Three transgender women are now a voice on violence against their community

Eden the Doll has a glamorous social media page, but the transgender social media influencer found herself in an ugly and violent encounter. She and two friends were attacked after a night out in Holllywood and are now speaking out on violence against the trans community.

Eden's real name is Eden Estrada. Her transition from male model to female was documented in Daily Mail. That surely helped garner the nearly 1/2 million followers she has on Instagram.

Early Monday morning, August 17, she and two friends found themselves the subject of video posted on social media of the attack in Hollywood.

First, Eden says she was robbed by a man of her cell phone as she waited for a ride-share car. That man then grabbed her purse. As crowd then turned on the three trans women saying "they're men, they're men." That first man Eden says then got angered and said "I'm gonna kill you."

Jaslene Busanet, who goes by Jaslene Whiterose on Instagram, says she was hit in the head by someone and knocked unconscious. Joslyn Allen, who goes by Joslyn Flawless, said the public mocked the women and refused to call police or help.

It's that same social media that came to their rescue and found the cell phone video of the incident on social media leading to arrests. The LAPD on Thursday announced three suspects and two arrests, one man, is homeless. Eden thanked the LAPD for "hearing us."

She is concerned the main suspect 29-year-old Carlton Calloway will get out on bail. He was charged with robbery and assualted.
