Suspect in Fontana shooting that left woman injured caught

A Tuesday shooting in Fontana left a woman injured, three people arrested, and police asking the community for help identifying the individual they say is responsible for the shooting.

By Thursday afternoon, police had 26-year-old George Livisaca in handcuffs.

The shooting happened at about 5:23 p.m. at the Jack Bulik Park located at 16581 Filbert Road in the city of Fontana. Police say several individuals believed to be known to each other were involved in a physical argument that escalated when a man, identified later as Livisaca, pulled out a handgun and fired one round towards some of the individuals involved in the argument.

During the shooting, a woman was injured. She was taken to the hospital where she was treated and later released.

Police arrested three people involved in the shooting for various charges:

  1. Michelle Pacheco, 36 years old,
  2. Jocelyn Castro, 25 years old 
  3. and Robert Castro, 19 years old

At about 1:27 p.m. Thursday, Fontana police say detectives located Livisaca in the 14800 block of Arrow Boulevard in Fontana. Police described him as a heavy-set Hispanic male adult, about 5-feet 8-inches tall, and weighing approximately 240 pounds, seen wearing black pants and a black shirt at the time of the shooting.
