Saving horses during the COVID-19 pandemic

All kinds of businesses have been devastated by the stay at home directive. Restaurants, hotels and horseback riding tours. The owners of the Connemara Ranch in Malibu Hills canceled all their tours.

Now, they're wondering how to keep their horses fed and healthy.

California's 'Stay at Home' order forced Talley Hutcherson and her partner Kevin Beck to cancel all reservations and refund everyone's money.

Talley Hutcherson of the Cavallo Foundation says she has enough donated feed to keep her ten horses fed until the end of the month.

To make matters worse, LA County closed all trails meaning her horses can't get the kind of exercise necessary to stay healthy.

Hutcherson worries she won't survive this latest disruption to her business. She's trying to raise donations to keep her horses fed.
