REPORT: Drowsy driving just as dangerous as drunk driving

A new report from AAA shows drivers who miss just a couple of hours of sleep double their risk of a crash!

According to AAA, about a third of US drivers get less than the recommended seven hours of sleep each night.

And the risk of a crash for sleep-deprived drivers increased steadily as sleep time decreased.

Traffic safety experts found drivers were 1.3 times more likely to be involved in accidents if they missed an hour of sleep.

Federal health officials have called insufficient sleep a 'public health problem.'
