Man fatally stabbed in Florence area

LOS ANGELES - A man was fatally stabbed Thursday in the Florence area of the county.

The crime occurred about 7:15 a.m. in the 7600 block of Whitsett Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally wounded man.

No arrests were reported.
