Investigation underway after man stabbed to death in Lancaster

LANCASTER (FOX 11 / CNS) - A father of seven was found stabbed to death early Thursday at an apartment complex in Lancaster.

The stabbing was reported around 12:45 a.m. at the Windrose Apartments in the 44700 block of Division Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The man was found outside in an apartment walkway near a parking area and pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

A family member told FOX 11 that 40-year-old Juan Matthews was visiting family, and a cousin's boyfriend is a person of interest in the murder.
