Hurricane Dorian forces Pitbull to postpone L.A. County Fair concert

Sunday night's Pitbull concert at the L.A. County Fair has been postponed due to Hurricane Dorian.

The entertainer was not able to safely depart from Miami, fair organizers announced.

"According to Pitbull's management, the artist cannot safely depart from Miami. Pitbull, a resident of Miami, has chosen to stay and tend to the safety of his family,'' the statement said.

The concert was tentatively rescheduled for Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m.

Ticket holders who planned to attend Sunday's show were still permitted to use their ticket to visit the fair, and also can gain admission on
the rescheduled date of the concert.

Hurricane Dorian made landfall in the Bahamas on Sunday with winds of 185 mph and gusts as high as 220 mph.
