Group of good Samaritans save man from jumping off Riverside overpass

A dramatic rescue caught on video… a group of good Samaritans stopped a man from jumping off an overpass in Riverside.

This happened around 4:30 a.m. New Year’s Day on the Market Street Bridge, overlooking the 60 freeway.

The group spotted a man standing over the overpass yelling and talking to himself. Without any hesitation, they all rushed to his side.

“I was here and saw their hazards on and looked up and someone was hanging up the ledge. I flipped a quick U-turn, ran up and grabbed him. I mean it’s just all love,” said one of the good Samaritans.

Video shows the group pulling the man back over the railing. Soon officers came by and helped them pull him to safety.  He was taken into custody and will undergo an evaluation.
