Investigation underway following deputy involved-shooting in Studio City

Deputy-involved shooting in Studio City
A deputy-involved shooting occurred in Studio City neighborhood after deputies served a Ramey warrant.
STUDIO CITY, Calif. - Authorities launched an investigation and four people were taken into custody following a deputy-involved shooting on Thursday morning, officials said.
The shooting was reported at 7:51 a.m. in the 11500 block of Dona Teresa Drive near Laurel Canyon Boulevard, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said.
Deputies with the West Hollywood Station went to the home to serve a Ramey warrant when at least one suspect pointed a gun at them and a shooting ensued.

A Ramey warrant allows law enforcement to obtain a warrant directly from a judge and bypass the District Attorney's office for time-sensitive situations.
It is not believed that anyone was struck by gunfire.
