Water main erupts in Sherman Oaks

A water main burst in a Sherman Oaks neighborhood on the afternoon of Aug. 17.

LOS ANGELES - Crews responded to a water main break in Sherman Oaks on Wednesday afternoon.

The water main break was reported in the 4400 block of Calhoun Avenue, located near Moorpark Street.

SkyFOX flew over the scene and showed flooding in the affluent neighborhood.

The flooding caused a sinkhole in the area.

No injuries were reported and crews are working to clear the scene.
