Approximately 20-year-old man fatally shot in South Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES - An approximately 20-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday evening in South Los Angeles.
A suspect fired a weapon during an argument with the victim, then the two suspects fled in their vehicle, according to Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Im said.
The suspects are a man and a woman, both also approximately 20 years old, Im said.
The shooting occurred about 7 p.m. in the 1700 block of Exposition Boulevard, near Western Avenue, according to Im.
Authorities are investigating the motive of the shooting, but Im said it does not appear to be gang related.
