Series of earthquakes hit San Bernardino County
LUDLOW, Calif. (FOX 11) - Multiple earthquakes shook an area of San Bernardino County Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The strongest was a magnitude 4.0 earthquake that hit at 8:41 a.m. about 7.5 miles west of Ludlow, USGS reports.
The epicenter was just north of the Marine Corps Base in Twentynine Palms.
Another 3.5 magnitude quake was reported at 8:14 a.m., as well as a magnitude 2.7 at 8:44 a.m. in the same area.
