The summit is held every year and began after the 2018 Tree of Life massacre in Pittsburgh which resulted in one of the largest losses of life in an anti-Semitic attack in the U.S.
Former President George W. Bush spoke Sunday night in Beverly Hills, and although there was a protest at the venue, police reported no trouble or arrests.
George W. Bush, who was America’s leader on 9/11, delivered remarks on the 20th anniversary of the attack at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Speaking during the televised broadcast “Celebrating America” after the historic inauguration of President Joe Biden’s and Vice President Kamala Harris, three former presidents shared advice for the incoming administration and echoed Biden’s calls for unity among all Americans.
"I just talked to the President-elect of the United States, Joe Biden," Bush said in a statement. "I extended my warm congratulations and thanked him for the patriotic message he delivered last night."
