Willie (2009) is a bright and happy child with a smile that will warm anyone’s heart.  Willie has a calm and mannerly demeanor, and speaks with precision and decisiveness. When asked what he wanted to be when he grows up, he said an engineer. So, we brought Willie to meet and learn about the field of aerospace with a real life engineer at Tomorrow’s Aeronautical Museum in Compton, CA.

It's early Saturday morning in Reseda and a group of volunteers gathers in a parking lot next to the gate of the Los Angeles River bike path wearing bright green vests and gloves, carrying cleaning tools and special kits containing food, water, and clothes. Wednesday's Child: Special needs teen Jemariah needs a permanent home

Jemariah (2005) is a happy and friendly teen with some special needs. He is very active and requires a great deal of support and supervision. He enjoys all kinds of food, especially tacos, salad, and cheez-its. He loves the outdoors and likes to strut his skills with a basketball. We’re told that Jemariah loves to color and being read to, so we decided to have him try his hand at painting at the Color Me Mine in Whittier, CA.

Point of View: Houston Astros cheated to win the 2017 World Series

Baseball fans wondered how the Houston Astros could manhandle the Dodgers great pitchers in the 2017 World Series. Now we know. They cheated. Major League Baseball came down hard on the Astros, as they should have, but Commissioner Rob Manfred has one more thing he must do. He can’t give the World Series Trophy to the Dodgers because they didn’t win it. But he certainly can take it back from the Astros and vacate their World Series win.
