Tips from StubHub on buying World Series 2017 tickets
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - The hottest ticket in town is the World Series. If you're looking to splurge and go to a game, you need to be careful.
Jessica Erskine, the head o U.S. Consumer Communications at StubHub, shared tips to insure you get what you pay for.
As of Tuesday morning ahead of Game 1, the cheapest tickets on StubHub available were around $700 to $800 each. The priciest tickets were going for around $10,000 to $12,000 a piece.
Here are a few of Erskine's tips:
1) Never pay cash
2) Be careful with social media
3) A toll free customer service number is important
4) Don't buy a ticket on the street
5) Timing is everything
