"He was a great storyteller, and he always put his subject above him. He always elevated the person he was talking to. Never put them down. Never used them as a way to shine light on himself," Meredith said.
Billy Bush shared several great memories of Regis Philbin with FOX 11's Elex Michaelson. Bush spent a lot of time with Regis and was on his set a lot while working on Access Hollywood.
"What Carson was to late-night, Regis was to morning television. Period," Billy Bush told FOX 11.
