Wreckage found with possible decomposed body nearby in Angeles National Forest

LOS ANGELES - Authorities are investigating a vehicle wreck discovered Thursday in the Angeles National Forest about half a mile south of the Big Tujunga Canyon Road and Angeles Forest Highway area.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department says an emergency call was received reporting a decomposed body near a vehicle off the side of the road.
L.A. Sheriff's Department personnel made their way to the wreckage with help from a Sheriff's helicopter but it's unknown if a body or remains were recovered from the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. No further details were immediately available.
