Vehicle crashes into apartment building in North Hills

NORTH HILLS, Calif. (FOX 11) - Emergency crews were called to the 8900 block of N. Orion Avenue in North Hills Wednesday evening for a vehicle that crashed into a two-story apartment building.

The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that the vehicle crash damaged about 6-feet of wall. The LAFD Urban Search and Rescue team responded to the scene to survey the building for any necessary support for stability.

Building and safety inspectors were also called to the scene to check the building's structural integrity.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
