Vegas shooting survivor handing out 58 acts of kindness in remembrance of Jordyn N. Rivera

One of the survivors of the October 1st Las Vegas mass shooting is handing out 58 random acts of kindness in remembrance of 21-year-old La Verne woman Jordyn N. Rivera who was killed on that tragic night.

One of the acts of kindness was gifted to Lt. Mike Bertelsen of the Azuza Police Department with a Starbucks gift card and this is the video the department posted on their Facebook page with a message to the woman:

'To the woman who did this kind act this morning, we thank you and sincerely hope you are doing okay.'

The gift card came with a note that read:

'I am a survivor of ths mass shooting in Las Vegas. You are my fourth of 58 acts of kindness in remembrance of Jordyn N. Rivera (age 21), one of pur 58 brothers and sisters killed in the Las Vegas shooting on Oct 1, 2017.'

It gave the officer chills and she left before he could thank her.

The response of the department's Facebook page has been overwhelmingly positive:

Thank you to the Azusa Police Department for posting this touching story and video!
