LOS ANGELES (FOX 11 / CNS) - UPDATE: Bo Jones was found safe. It turns out he was actually taken to the hospital on Tuesday. His phone was found near MacArthur Park, but no one knew he'd been in the hospital. His father used the "Find My Phone" app to trace his son's phone to a store where someone was trying to crack it. Officials at the hospital couldn't comment on why he was at the hospital, but he could soon be released.

A 22-year-old USC grad student is missing and police are asking for the public's help in locating him.
Bo John Jones was last seen leaving his apartment near the 1100 block of 6th Street in Los Angeles about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department.
He was only carrying his cell phone when he left the apartment and the phone was located Thursday near the MacArthur Park playground, less than 2 miles from his apartment, news outlets reported.
His father, James Jones, told news outlets he used the Find My iPhone app to locate his son's phone, which was at a cell phone store and someone was trying to "crack it.'' He retrieved the phone from a woman who said she found it in MacArthur Park.
Bo is white, 5 feet 7 inches, 140 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, police said. He was last seen wearing a red USC t-shirt, gray shorts and sandals.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Los Angeles Police Department's Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800.
