Three teens injured during shooting outside party in Hacienda Heights

Three teenagers were injured in a shooting outside a house party in Hacienda Heights.

It occurred around 9:30 p.m. Saturday on the 16000 block of Garo Street.

Responding deputies said they found two boys, ages 15 and 16, lying in front of homes located one block apart near Garo. The 15-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to the torso, the 16-year-old at shot in the leg, said Lt.James Long with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Industry Station.

It was later learned that a 16-year-old girl also was injured. As of Sunday morning, only the 15-year-old boy remains hospitalized, his condition is not known.

Some witnesses said the shooting was the result of a possible attempted robbery, but others said it stemmed from an argument or altercation related to a house party at the Garo Street address.

The suspects were described as four people who were in a gray or silver four-door sedan that was seen leaving shortly after the shooting,
heading west on Stimson Avenue.
